Who am I and what do I do with your personal data?

Francesco Marotta (VAT No. IT 10072371213), registered email address: francescomarotta_fm@pec.it (hereinafter also the "Data Controller"), as the data controller with the power to act also as the data processor, is concerned about the confidentiality of your personal data and guarantees them the necessary protection from any event that may put them at risk of violation.

The Data Controller implements policies and procedures related to the collection and use of personal data and the exercise of the rights guaranteed to you by the current law. The Data Controller is committed to updating the policies and procedures for the protection of personal data whenever necessary and in any case in the presence of legislative and organizational changes that may affect the processing of your personal data.

How does the Data Controller collect and process your data?

Your personal information will be managed for:

1) Site navigation

Some functions may not be executable without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically indispensable. In other cases, the site uses cookies to simplify and facilitate user navigation or to allow them to access services specifically requested.

Cookies can persist in the system for extended periods and may include a unique identification code. This allows sites that use them to monitor the user's navigation within the site itself, for statistical or advertising purposes, or to create a personalized profile of the user based on the pages they have visited and to show and/or send them targeted advertising (i.e., Behavioural Advertising).

2) Communication to third parties and recipients

The disclosure of your personal data mainly occurs to third parties and/or recipients whose activity is essential for the fulfillment of the activities related to the above-mentioned purposes, and also to comply with certain legal obligations. Any disclosure that does not respond to these purposes will be subject to your consent.

In particular, your data may be disclosed to third parties/recipients for the provision of the service (e.g., IT service providers), communications to competent authorities, and to public supervisory and control bodies towards which the Data Controller must respect specific obligations arising from the specificity of the activity carried out.

The personal data that the Data Controller manages for this purpose are navigation data (IP address, URL).

3) Reasons for computer security

The Data Controller manages, also through its suppliers (third parties and/or recipients), your personal data (e.g., IP address) or traffic collected or obtained, in case of services offered on the website in a strictly necessary and proportionate measure to ensure the security and the ability of a network or servers connected to it to resist, at a given level of security, unforeseen events or illicit or malicious acts that compromise the availability, authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality of personal data stored or transmitted.

For these purposes, the Data Controller has measures for managing the violation of personal data (data breach).

What are cookies and what purposes can they be used for?

A "cookie" is a small text file created by some websites on the user's computer when they access a certain site, to store and transport information. Cookies are sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is running) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the user's computer; they are then re-sent to the website during subsequent visits.

Some operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which, in some cases, are therefore technically necessary. In other cases, the site uses cookies to facilitate and ease the user's navigation or to allow them to use services specifically requested.

Cookies can persist in the system for a long period and include a unique identifier. This allows sites to track the user's browsing behavior on their site, for statistical or advertising purposes. They can create a personalized profile of the user based on the pages visited and present them with targeted advertising, a practice known as behavioral advertising.

The Data Controller reports below the specific categories of cookies used, their purpose, and the consequences of their de-selection.
